Montessori Miniature Environment: My Family Meal

Language is rooted in meaning. 

Montessori miniature environments are a helpful and low-tech resource for building vocabulary in a hands-on and meaningful way for your child since your child will be selecting the words they are interested in learning.  

This activity can be used for more than language acquisition—it is great for storytelling and practicing gratitude.

This worksheet can be used for preschool-age children through 9 years old. For older students, you can create noun cards for their drawn images. Cut those out and have your child match up the words to the images they created for their environment. 

Print on cardstock and laminate to extend the use of this material.
