These are the primary activities that you can be an active participant in at H3. 

Montessori Education Centers:

Establish and operate Montessori-based learning environments (including Ancestor's Seeds school)

Integrate African and African American cultural knowledge with Montessori principles

Focus on hands-on learning, STEAM education, and practical life skills

Family Empowerment Programs:

Offer parenting workshops on Montessori principles at home

Provide family counseling and support services

Organize community events celebrating Black culture and achievement

Educator Development:

Conduct Montessori teacher training with emphasis on cultural responsiveness

Offer professional development on integrating African and African American history and culture into curricula

Support research on culturally responsive Montessori education for Black children

Community Space Creation:

Develop community centers that incorporate Montessori principles

Create "living room" spaces for community gatherings and intergenerational learning

Design and implement outdoor learning environments and community gardens

Youth Leadership and Entrepreneurship:

Offer programs teaching business skills and financial literacy

Provide mentorship opportunities with Black professionals and entrepreneurs

Support youth-led community improvement projects

Arts and Cultural Expression:

Host workshops and classes in various art forms (visual arts, music, dance, etc.)

Create spaces for cultural expression and storytelling

Develop a library and resource center of Black literature and educational materials

Advocacy and Outreach:

Advocate for policies supporting equitable education and Montessori methods in public schools

Collaborate with other organizations to expand impact

Conduct community outreach to promote Montessori principles and cultural affirmation
