This is about the work of my ancestors. The unseen and unnamed faces that made choices that were bold, frightening, and at times simple yet steadfast. 

It is those choices that create a sea of ripples that brought each of us here. I wanted Ancestors’ Seeds to be a destination that centers beauty, innocence, and joy of Black childhood.

The logo icon captures the brand's mission of keeping ancestral knowledge alive. The Nsibidi symbol of the outspread palm represents the pioneers of the Epke, a West African member society known for their communication with the ancestors. The concept was designed to look playful and resemble a child's hand. The image of a seed positioned in the middle of the hand represents the knowledge being passed down to new generations of Black children.
