Little Hands in Nature Program (Thursday)

Welcome to Ancestors' Seeds Little Hands in Nature class, a program designed to honor our Black roots while cultivating our little ones' growth! Join us for a nurturing experience tailored for Black families with children ages 0-2.

🌿 Thursdays, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM in SW Atlanta (Cascade area)

🌿 August - May (10-month program)

Ancestors' Seeds provides a culturally affirming environment where your child can thrive. Our program blends Montessori principles with African and African-American traditions, immersing children in nature through:

• Songs and stories celebrating our heritage

• Sensory activities inspired by African cultures

• Play that nurtures the soul of the child

There will be a monthly Black Artist Focus. Each month, we spotlight a Black artist's work at the art center exploring

• Colors and shapes

• Artistic themes (e.g., mother + child, cities, nature)

• Artistic medium (paint, fabric, clay, etc.)

Weekly Rhythm:

• Arrival with libations
• Community Song
• Group Activity using Little Oak Learning materials
• Station Rotation - Montessori materials engaging all 8 senses
• Storytelling
• Farewell Song
• Lunch & Chill
• Departure

Small class sizes (max 8 children) ensure personalized attention and a strong sense of community.

Monthly Investment:

• $75 for one child (4 classes)

• $120 for two children

• Scholarships available - we believe in accessibility for all our families!

Each class includes:

• Access to Tiny Leaf Montessori Lending Library

• Handcrafted herbal blend tea (enjoy in class and take home)

• Nourishing snacks for you and your child
